Soon to be the used to be.

Picking a new website  layout can be extremely stressful.  Do you want to go with a particular color palette?  Web 1.0 or 2.0?  What does that even mean?  Do you need a lot of bells and whistles?  Or is less more?

What is that?

I’m currently in the middle of that idealogical swamp desperately searching for a sturdy branch to help me slog along with.  I have been and will be looking at the following sites.  I’m hoping it will provide a little design 101/inspiration to beef up my communication with my web designer and friend, Mark Pantojan of Syck.

I had the opportunity to work in conjunction with Cristina at Explore Modeling to cover e.l.f. Cosmetics search for a 2012 spokesmodel. They utilized Explore Modeling online casting infrastructure to sort through models of all ages from around the country. I got to take a look at the final shoot with the 4 finalists and get everyone’s impression of the entire process. My take away from this whole thing is that beauty is hard work!

Don't Stop!!!

I had the pleasure of directing the music video, “We Got Music” for pop artist, MzMunchie.  It’s got a really great Old Skool dance video feel and I really hope you enjoy watching it.  It’s a great song, fun concept, and has a bunch of extras who were down to “get funky”.  You can get to know MzMunchie better, as well, by going to her site, www.mzmunchie.com.

Ad Bands...a way of life.

I was commissioned to put together a team to cover SAY Media’s Battle of the Ad Bands.  It was one of the premiere events of Advertising Week in New York this year.  Beautiful people, great music, and a wicked fast turn around on the edit; resulted in the video you see.  As always, I’m thankful to work with some really talented people.

A quick little spot for the Vh1 Save the Music Campaign with inspirational artist, Otis Battles.

A few months back I had the privilege of documenting the progress of a food non-profit called, Real Food Challenge.  They were up in Boston for the Northeast Food & Justice Summit.  Everyone had great energy throughout.  The promo was put together to help get their energy and their message out to the public.  Unity.  Community.  Movement.

I live life a quarter mile at a time.

This is a mini project from last year that I’ve finally gotten around to putting up.  I was brought down to Englishtown for a day at the races, courtesy of EATSLEEPRACE, a jersey based race apparel company, who I knew through friends.  I had the opportunity to chronicle the experience and put it to video and this is what I came out with.

I was asked to do a quick turnaround on a promotional cut for Kim Burrell’s album, Sweeter. Sifted through a lot of footage and came out the other side a few hours later with this.
